Here at Inspired Health, patients often ask which nutritional supplements they should be taking on a daily basis. With all the information out there and the sea of supplements available, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and unsure of how to best provide yourself with daily support, so let’s discuss!

Quality matters significantly when it comes to supplementation. Depending on how the product is prepared, it may not be readily available for your body to absorb. This means you may not get as much out of the supplement due to lower caliber sources used in preparing the product.

When ordering through a third party or online, it’s also possible you may not even be getting the authentic product – scary! This may leave you feeling little to no change in your health, which is unhelpful. Of more concern is the possible contamination with substances that may actually cause you harm.

We want you to get the most out of the correct supplementation. You can ensure the products we use here at the Inspired Health Apothecary have met rigorous quality standards. All of our thoughtfully chosen supplements are: Physician Grade, Gluten free, Allergen and Heavy Metal Free.

Please remember to consult you practitioner before taking any supplements!

Guide to the Daily Essentials

  • Methylated Multivitamin: Methylation provides increased ability to absorb this high quality multi-nutrient and supports the body’s detox pathways. Provides mood support as well!
  • Vitamin D3: This amazing vitamin supports your immune system, bone health, energy and helps balance hormones.
  • Magnesium: This wonderful mineral reduces muscle tension and anxiety, regulates bowel function and aids with restful sleep.
  • Omega Fatty Acids (Fish oil): A powerful antioxidant, remover of toxins and reducer of inflammation. It has been shown to help lower chances of diabetes complications. Also helps heal the gut and fuel our brains!
  • Probiotics: Did you know your gut is your second brain? How cool is that! Quality probiotics have been shown to improve mood and aid the digestive system. We recommend rotating through the various probiotics we carry to promote biodiversity in the gut.

Because we believe in the power of these basics, we created a kit to simplify access to them – The Daily Essentials! A compact box containing a one month supply comes in convenient tear kits you can grab and go. The kit contains high quality ingredients you can be sure will provide your body with excellent support. *Note: Probiotics must be purchased separately.

Once patients have started the Daily Essentials, we often see decreased joint pain, less PMS and menstrual pain, improved mood, better sleep, and more energy- just to name a few. That’s huge!

The Daily Essentials can be ordered online, but of course feel free to stop in to our Apothecary in the Box Factory anytime. Let us know how else we can help you achieve optimal health. We are here to help you feel your best!

By connecting Functional Medicine with Ancestral principles, we are able to utilize evidence-based modern science, lab testing and technology, alongside nutrition, herbal, and lifestyle approaches to address the root cause of disease. This 360° analysis of your health guides the creation of a customized regimen specifically tailored for you, moving you along your path towards inspired health. More on how we work here.
