TIPS & TRICKS TO HACK THE FLU SEASON

Well, it’s that time of year again: Cold and Flu season. School has begun and the germs are in the air. That’s because children easily carry and spread illness.

Ultimately, each of us has a responsibility to protect our bodies and maximize our immune system. But with Halloween coming up, the sugar is bound to come out; it’s certainly not the healthiest time of year!

Here’s the thing: fluctuation of weather temps + work/homework + sugar = the perfect storm for illness to spread.

How do we deal?

We don’t want you to forget about the Warming Socks treatment. If you haven’t tried it, it is very effective – and FREE!

Take action as soon as you feel the first signs of any scratchy throat or stuffy nose. Furthermore, it’s important to tune in with your body and pay attention to what it’s telling you. The faster you act against illness, the better chance you’ll have at preventing a disaster.

As Mamas and Doctors, we have seen a lot of runny noses and coughs already this year! There are some nasty viruses going around. If you get sick, don’t fret – let us help you get your boost and strengthen your immune system as soon as possible.

The key to cold and flu season is PREVENTION. You may want to consider having a Cold and Flu season “Immune First Aid Kit” on hand as well…we seem to always get sick on days that stores are closed! And, who wants to go to the store when you are sick?
